Canada

Banff National Park

Banff National Park

Canada's first national park, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Turquoise Lake Louise and Moraine Lake, the town of Banff, and endless hiking and skiing make it a year-round destination. The Icefields Parkway between Banff and Jasper is one of the world's most scenic drives. Wildlife viewing and hot springs add to the experience.

Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls

One of the most famous waterfalls in the world, on the border between Ontario and the USA. View from the Canadian side for the best panorama, or take a boat trip (Hornblower/Maid of the Mist) to the base. The town has gardens, casinos and attractions; the falls themselves are free to view from the park. Stunning by day and when lit at night.

Vancouver

Vancouver

A coastal city between mountains and ocean. Stanley Park, Granville Island, and the seawall are perfect for walking and cycling. Diverse neighbourhoods, strong food scene, and easy access to Whistler and Vancouver Island. Museums, beaches and a relaxed vibe make Vancouver a favourite for both city and nature lovers.

CN Tower Toronto

CN Tower, Toronto

Toronto's landmark tower offers 360° views from the observation deck and the Glass Floor. The EdgeWalk lets you walk around the outside of the pod (book ahead). Dining with a view is available. The tower dominates the skyline and is a symbol of the city — best combined with a visit to the waterfront and Harbourfront.
