Stunning turquoise lake in the Mackenzie Basin, with the Church of the Good Shepherd and star-filled skies. The area is part of a Dark Sky Reserve, ideal for stargazing. Visit by day for the lake and lupins (in season), and by night for astronomy tours. Close to Mount Cook and Twizel.
